Bird Havens

Birds love to play, hide, sleep or just hang out in their own safe hideaway.  Most birds that like a covered nest should take to these. About all I can think of that are excluded would be eagles and canaries. With winter coming just a few extra degrees of warmth are always appreciated. They're also a great hideaway for small household pets like mice, rats, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, etc. For cleaning, I usually hose them down outside  - but don't forget to take out the cardboard first! - and then put them in the washer on gentle cycle.

One of my lovebirds, Ida Lutino, always insists on carving a back window out of her haven. I think it's so she can keep an eye on Vida Bluetail in the next cage. Obviously, Ida goes through a few havens each year.

Petite Havens

(5.5" H x 5.5" W x 5.5" D)

These would be suitable for parakeets, lovebirds and parrotlets. Petite Havens are $9.95

                                                                                                     

Soft Petite Havens

(5.5" H x 5.5" W x 5.5" D)

These are identical to the Petite Havens above except that they have extra padding for increased warmth. This is for the birds whose owners try to cut back their thermostats to save a few pennies on the utility bill and I sure fall into that category.  These are just $10.95

 

Small Havens

(8" H x 7.5" W X 7.5" D)

These would be for cockatiels, Meyers, Senegals and like sized birds.  $ 12.95 each

 

Soft Small Havens

(8" H x 7.5" W X 7.5" D)

Same size as the Small haven but with the extra padding for warmth - $13.95 each

                                                                                                                           

Medium Havens

(10.5" H x 11" W x 11" D)

These are roomy enough for Amazons, African Greys and similar sized birds. These are $14.95 each

Large Havens
