Bird Havens

Birds love to play, hide, sleep or just hang out in their own safe hideaway. Most birds that like a covered nest should take to these. About all I can think of that are excluded would be eagles and canaries. With winter coming just a few extra degrees of warmth are always appreciated. They're also a great hideaway for small household pets like mice, rats, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, etc. For cleaning, I usually hose them down outside first - but don't forget to take out the cardboard first!

One of my lovebirds, Ida Lutino, always insists on carving a back window out of her haven. I think it's so she can keep an eye on Vida Bluetail in the next cage. Obviously, Ida goes through a few havens each year.

Petite Havens

Soft Petite Havens
(5.5" H x 5.5" W x 5.5" D)
These are identical to the Petite Havens above except that they have extra padding for increased warmth. This is for the birds whose owners try to cut back their thermostats to save a few pennies on the utility bill and I sure fall into that category. Small Havens
(8" H x 7.5" W X 7.5" D)

Medium Havens
(10.5" H x 11" W x 11" D)
These are roomy enough for Amazons, African Greys and similar sized birds
(Center-E) This model has a lot of variety including toucans and macaws, hibiscus and jungle greenery. $14.95
Large Havens
(14.5" H x 14" W x 14" D)
This is for the big boys or for the smaller ones to share.
(A) This pattern has a tropical reef with fish and starfish $ 18.95
